WINEMAKING

The hand harvested grapes are gently destemmed and crushed, before going into stainless steel tanks where the primary fermentation takes place with a controlled temperature of 28°C to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The wine is racked into cement tanks, where it goes through the malolactic fermentation, and is kept on his fine lees until the bottling.

Bright ruby red colour 

NOSE

Intense black and red fruit character with fragrant baking spice. 

PALATE

The palate finishes rich, juicy and vibrant. A very textural wine with depth and juiciness, intense and approachable tannins.

Montepulciano is made to be enjoyed with hearty, savoury dishes. Enjoy with a beef ragu, tagliatelle or mushroom risotto.
